The Q-BOND Stack
1. Dual-Layer Blockchain Architecture
Q‑BOND uses a Layer 1 execution chain for real-time PoS transactions, and a Layer 2 settlement chain with lattice-based, quantum‑resistant signatures.
This ensures blazing speed for validators and developers - with military-grade, post‑quantum security for everything that matters.
- Execution Layer: 2–3 second block time; EVM-compatible (Solidity/QVM).
- Settlement Layer: CRYSTALS-Dilithium + hash-based signatures ensure immutability for critical assets.
- zk-Rollups: Scalable data availability with zero-knowledge proofs for trustless validation.
2. Smart Contracts - QBOND Protocol
Our smart contract system governs every stage of the bond lifecycle.
- Minting: Researchers issue QBonds with predefined APY and milestones.
- Staking: Validators and backers stake capital to activate research.
- Milestone Oracle: AI/DAO oracles verify scientific progress and release funds accordingly.
- Yield Engine: AI-assisted APY pricing in future versions based on project class, risk score, and validator reputation.
3. Q‑IdentityEnvy (QIE) - Reputation Layer
Our soul‑bound ID system enforces ethics, compliance, and long-term trust.
- Identity Binding: One per real human; pseudonymous in network, KYC-optional for fiat on/off ramps.
- Reputation Score: Based on staking history, governance votes, and ethical compliance.
- Access Control: Certain bond tiers, validator votes, or research classes may require QIE minimum scores.
- Soul-Bound Token: Enforced non-transferability of identity token.
4. Governance Engine
Q‑BOND is governed by both capital and character.
- Quadratic Voting System: Validators (stakers) and QIE (reputation) votes are dual-weighted.
- Proposal Categories:
• Research project approvals
• Treasury disbursements
• Bond issuance rule changes
• Ethical flag resolution - DAO Architecture: DeSCI DAO LLC is mirrored in smart contract governance logic.
5. Quantum-Safe by Default
While most DeFi chains are vulnerable to quantum decryption, Q‑BOND’s core Layer 1 uses:
Lattice-Based Cryptography: Dilithium and Kyber schemes.
Post-Quantum Key Exchange: SIDH-replacement secure handshake models.
Fallback Protocols: In case of QIE node compromise or signature failure.
6. Research Verification System
Q‑BOND introduces milestone-anchored funding:
- Proof of Milestone™ Protocol: Documents, lab data, AI-verified reproducibility.
- On-Chain oracles governed by validator consensus or AI agents.
- Failure Penalty: Projects that falsify or abandon milestones forfeit staked QBonds - redistributed to bondholders and bounty verifiers.
Future Integrations (coming post-MVP)
- IPFS / Arweave for data archiving
- AI-generated bond pricing models
- Tokenized IP escrow vaults
- Cross-chain bridges (Ethereum, Cosmos, QAN)
